Pre-emergent is applied in early Spring to control annual grassy weeds like Crabgrass, it kills very young seedlings so growth needs to have started.

In late Fall it is important to add high nitrogen, slow release fertilizer to your lawn between mowing season and the first freeze. This helps grass recover from the heat of summer and protect it from the cold winter months.

Post-Emergent is applied about a month after the pre-emergent to halt the growth of weed seeds and weeds that germinated over the winter.

Aeration is important late in the season to prepare your lawn for the winter months to help soil water uptake, intake fertilizer and seed, reduce runoff and strengthen turf grass roots. 

A low nitrogen, slow release fertilizer is applied in the late summer to give your lawn a boost and staying in the soil longer while avoiding 'burning' your lawn.

Over-seeding helps improve your lawns overall appearance as well as helps with erosion, repels disease and weeds, and increases growth.
