Nancy Becker Richardson is a talented artists who specializes in oil paintings. Her diverse portfolio of commissions ranges from abstract pieces to realistic portraits and landscapes and she needed a website to display her paintings.

First Website
I created the first website in 2018 with images of artwork that were sent to me. I edited each image by cropping, aspect ratio, and adjusted light and color. I created the artist name, Nancy Becker Paints, the domain name and created a site that showcased the paintings as well as an option to purchase.

Streamline Site
In January of 2023 I was able to photograph all of Nancy's paintings at high quality and decided it was time to update and streamline the website as a portfolio with her updated paintings and information.

Revise and Edit Website
I created a website draft and published it to get feedback. The main feedback was that the main page did not scroll down to more of the website. As a designer I like a very simple main page and click to links, but I changed the website to fit the feedback and had very good results.

Updated Website
The higher quality images made the biggest impact for the new website, as well as the ability to scroll down from the home page. Cohesiveness, displaying the artwork and ability to contact and see all social media was key for this website.
